EASE

A couple of months ago a friend invited me to make a vision board with a wonderful circle of women.  After experiencing a tragic death, an injury that required surgery and lots of external and internal conflict I gladly put one word front and center of the vision board: EASE.

EASE.

Just writing and saying the word is like a gentle cool breeze on a hot summer day.

I wanted to create and attract EASE into my life.  I wanted to live from a place of EASE;  practice it daily and allow it to soothe and nourish me.

It’s interesting what happens when we have such a clear intention and then behave in harmony with that intention.  Since doing the vision board I have indeed felt more EASE in my day to day life.  It isn’t magic – it takes conscious attention.  Nor is it full proof.  I have to remind myself.  Look up from my computer and let the word EASE settle into my skin.

I ask myself regularly “how can I make this easy?”

Each morning I open the window – stick my head out and take in the day.  I feel the warm or moist air, smell the morning dew and then set an intention for my day “Today is about productivity and completion.” Or, “Today I will be fully present with my daughter.”  Then I add, “And I approach my day with EASE.”

How about you?  Would you like to water the seed of EASE in yourself?  Or perhaps there is another quality you want to consciously invite into your life.  Use this morning practice and make your own vision board.

Life is short – live it with intention.
